Despite having some of my earliest memories revolve around design from advertisements on television and in magazines to my 7 year old obsession with the Western Auto sign in downtown Kansas City, it wasn't until college that I realized my interests all revolved around Graphic Design.
To me, Graphic Design is the ultimate form of "Art with Purpose." I have always been in love with the idea of using art to sway emotion and impress the mind in decision making from the consumer standpoint to lifestyle choices. This has led me to where I am today, a graduate of Kansas State University with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Journalism and Mass Communications.
I believe in enjoying the little things in life, and if that means I can design a piece that makes someone smile or help design an advertisement or label that sticks with someone or inspires them the way a Western Auto did for me, then I'll continue to love what I do.
